Meeting held at Fairfield Conference Center, Fairfield, TX

1. CALL TO ORDER, CITIZEN COMMENTS
Chairman Davis called the meeting to order at 12:18pm. There were no citizen comments.

2. WELCOME TO BRENT BALLARD, NEW PRESIDENT OF FIDC
Chairman Davis welcomed FIDC’s new President, Brent Ballard. Mr. Ballard began work July 1, 2014.

3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE 2014 MEETINGS
The minutes of the June meetings were approved with a motion from Mr. Turner and a second from Mr. Chavers. 4-0

4. REVIEW OF THE JUNE 2014 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The financials were reviewed with no objections.

5. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ADDITION OF BRENT BALLARD AS SIGNER ON CHECKING AND CD ACCOUNTS
Mr. Robinson made a motion to add President Ballard to as an authorized signer to the Community National Checking #6122816 and CD #16535 accounts. The motion was seconded by Mr. Turner and passed 4-0.

6. CLOSED SESSION – No Closed Session was entered into.
Pursuant to Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Board reserves the right to convene in CLOSED SESSION(S), from time to time as deemed necessary during the meeting.

7. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Chairman Davis discussed the following:
a. met with Tommy Miller of the FF Library Board and their Board will meet with Dr. Kavalier of Navarro College regarding options for the FF Library at the Navarro Career & Technical Center campus in Fairfield
b. met with Stanger Surveyors regarding staking of the proposed roadways per the KSA Plat in the Fairfield Industrial Park. They will stake and as needed to resurvey in order to prepare for the clear cutting to be done.
c. discussed the proposed fundraising shoot to be held the weekend before Dove season opens at Caney Creek Shooting Range. Chairman Davis will form a committee to coordinate this. Funds will be raised for scholarships to the Navarro Career & Technical Center at Fairfield

President Ballard discussed upcoming business that he will be working on including entrance signage at Fairfield Industrial Park and upgrading the FIDC website to a site compatible with the City of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

8. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:47pm.
